一番星画廊は、洋画家・故 中川一政 の命名により1987年に開廊しました。日本の優れた物故作家の作品を中心に取り扱い、これまで多くの国公立美術館へ作品を納入してきました。近年は国内外で活躍する作家から若手作家まで幅広く紹介しています。

Ichibanboshi Gallery was established in 1987 and was given its name by the late Japanese painter Kazumasa Nakagawa. The gallery specializes in works by distinguished deceased Japanese artists and has supplied artworks to numerous national and public museums throughout Japan. In recent years, it has also expanded its program to include a wide range of artists, from internationally active established figures to promising emerging talents from Japan and abroad.
